Five Success Stories From UnternehmerTUM

One of Munich’s most successful entrepreneurship centers is UnternehmerTUM. We would like to present five Munich startups that not only have success in common, but also links to UnternehmerTUM.

Flix launched roughly ten years ago with the aim to “open up new opportunities for young and student target groups to travel between German cities affordably and in utmost comfort.” On its journey, the company received support from several Munich-based entrepreneurship centers, including UnternehmerTUM. According to the company, UnternehmerTUM helped Flix most particularly with their extensive network in politics and industry. The company founded by Jochen Engert, Daniel Krauss and André Schwämmlein is now worth approximately 2.7 billion euros and now also runs trains in addition to busses. And that’s not just in Germany, but also in large parts of Europe, North America and Brazil. (Photo: Flix)
