Five Munich Edtech Startups That Are Revolutionizing Learning

The digitalization of learning continues to progress. It’s innovative startups in particular that are driving development – as is demonstrated by these five examples from the Munich startup scene.

Simpleclub
With its app, Simpleclub offers a knowledge platform for students from fifth grade  and up. From exercises and summaries to explanatory videos and preparation for different school leaving examinations, the application offers numerous services for struggling students. In addition, the Munich startup has also been offering services for trainees and dual-degree students for some time now. Simpleclub is working together with partners such as Deutsche Bahn, Brillux, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Deutscher Sparkassenverlag. The startup was founded in 2015 by Alexander Giesecke and Nicolai Schork. According to the company, two million students from the fifth grade and up use the Munich startup’s learning content every month, and teachers in Germany are also using the content in the classroom. Simpleclub closed its most recent funding round last year. The startup received 7.2 million euros from investors such as 10x Founders and HV Capital. (Photo: Simpleclub)
