Five Munich Edtech Startups That Are Revolutionizing Learning

The digitalization of learning continues to progress. It’s innovative startups in particular that are driving development – as is demonstrated by these five examples from the Munich startup scene.

Easy-Tutor
Easy-Tutor offers an online tutoring platform for school and university students and for their parents. On the platform, they can choose from more than 1,000 active and individually vetted tutors. The startup was founded in 2017 by Jessica Contento and Massimo Cancellara. It was only in late 2022 that the edtech startup announced the closing of its Series A financing round of 4.8 million euros. The startup’s cooperation partners also play an important part in the development of Easy-Tutor. According to the company, around 200 partner schools and 40 percent of all Bundesliga clubs – including FC Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt – are currently using Easy-Tutor in their childcare services for children and teens. The startup also wants to win over companies for collaboration. The aim is for these companies to increase Easy-Tutor’s visibility through their relevance to the target group, while their customers benefit from the tutoring offer. They have already worked with well-known retailers such as Edeka, Müller Handels GmbH and MediaMarktSaturn. (Photo: Easy-Tutor)
