5 Munich start-ups driving the energy revolution

These five Munich-based start-ups are developing solutions to accelerate the energy revolution in Germany and around the world.

Kyon Energy
Kyon Energy develops, designs and operates grid-connected battery storage systems. These systems stabilize the power grid and enable a clean, sustainable and socially sustainable energy supply of renewable energies. Battery storage systems store electricity at times when excess energy is not needed and feed it back into the grid when demand is high. This reduces bottlenecks in the grid as well as major fluctuations in the price of electricity. Overall, this will allow more renewable energy to be added to the energy supply. (Photo: Kyon Energy)
