Munich Startups That Are Promoting Urban Mobility

Mobiko: The mobility startup Mobiko was founded in 2018 by Audi Business Innovation and the company builder Mantro. The name is an abbreviation for Mobilitätskontingent (mobility allowance) and hints at what the Munich-based company offers: They give companies a solution for invoicing employees’ mobility expenses using a monthly digital mobility budget. Employees receive a monthly mobility budget that can be used flexibly for different mobility providers and services as needed. Just one investor that the Munich startup was able to win over with their approach in February this year is the Swiss insurance company Baloise. (Photo: Mobiko)
