IAA Mobility 2021: How Much Startup Does the Mobility Conference Have to Offer?

The IAA is being held for the first time in Munich this year and has reinvented itself: The former car show is now aiming for success as a modern mobility conference. We have some pictures to share of the exhibition halls and of the ‘Open Space’ in downtown Munich.

Der Dateiname ist IAA_Mercedes-1200x900.jpg — Less startup and more corporate – in the Open Spaces in downtown Munich, it’s mainly the big players in the industry that are to be found. Some stands are indeed spectacular, such as Mercedes-Benz on Odeonsplatz. Floating over an accessible, raised green platform, a sculpture made of recyclable fibers by US artist Janet Echelman sways in the wind. Very impressive. And, of course, the cars on display are also meant to impress. And that’s not all: Interested visitors can take the showcased vehicles for a test drive, but it is necessary to register in advance.
